Sports Campout & NCAA Basketball Game at UNT

Fun Weekend at the Scout Barn camping as we work on Sports Merit Badge and attend NCAA basketball sporting event on Saturday night! Scouts will also create their own trick shot videos as they learn more about various sports and staying physically fit. This is a two night campout at the Scout Barn, Friday and Saturday, with a visit to The Pit at UNT Denton to attend a NCAA Basketball game. Scouts will get to participate in the pre-game activities and shake hands with the athletes and get a shout out on the big screen at the half.  We will also work on advancement requirements this weekend to work towards helping scouts advance in rank. Scouts are welcome to bring along a friend! Parents with current Youth Protection Training can also attend or assist with transportation.
